Meet William “Bill” Beyers II, Esq.
Bill Beyers has achieved the designation of Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA) by the National Elder Law Foundation, the only organization accredited by the American Bar Association to offer certification in the area of elder law. Bill is currently one of only seven Certified Elder Law Attorneys in the state of Colorado.
He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Academy of Special Needs Planners. A graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan University and the University of Nebraska College of Law, Bill frequently speaks to groups about elder law, special needs, and estate planning.
Bill has been practicing law in Northern Colorado for over 30 years. His office is located in Loveland, Colorado.
Meet William “Will” Beyers III, Esq.
Will joined the office full-time in 2016 but has been actively involved with the practice since 2013. A native of northern Colorado, his practice focuses on estate planning, elder law, and special needs planning. While he most enjoys the proactive side of the law, Will regularly handles guardianship and conservatorship matters for families and he has successfully administered over 30 proceedings from start to finish throughout the state.
Will believes that an effective estate plan is like a well-tailored suit; the only “correct” estate plan is the one that effectively addresses the clients wants, needs and concerns, and – most importantly – that the client is comfortable with. The highlight of his legal career so far has been sharing the honor of “Best Law Firm” with his father Bill in 2021. Will grew up reading the Reporter Herald each morning, so seeing such support from the community means a great deal to the Beyers family.
Will is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, ElderCounsel, The Larimer County Trust & Estates Section, and the Larimer County Young Lawyers Division where he previously served as the Vice President of Communications. Will is the Larimer County Chair of Colorado Lawyers for Colorado Veterans and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Pathways, a Northern Colorado hospice organization. His monthly columns on Elder Law issues can be found in the Larimer County and Weld County editions of 50+ Magazine.
Outside of the office, will is an avid Colorado Avalanche fan who loves getting outdoors with his wife Alex, their 2.5 year old son Charlie, and their goldendoodle Winnie. They are currently awaiting the arrival of a baby girl in January and cannot wait to raise her in the community that they love. As a result of this, Will has increasingly started working with younger families who are “starting out” the estate planning process and he finds great joy in helping ease the process of a daunting task.
